Sometimes, it’s better to let others speak on behalf of your brand, and that’s where human stories come in.

Whether it be an internal member from your team or a valued client with a unique story to share, these videos serve not only as trust-building assets with prospective clients but also as a loyalty-building tool for those with whom you already have an established relationship.

 

These videos can be a more traditional live-action format with an interview and b-roll. Or they can be animated, which can add a degree of joy and delight while allowing those who may be a little camera shy the opportunity to simply lend their story and/or voice instead of their face. 

 

When we make human stories, we like to spend time with the subject prior to the official interview or script-writing. We want to understand what makes them passionate, why they care so much about your brand, and what their goals are. It’s not just about your brand, it’s also about them as a person. Audiences don’t easily connect with a brand itself, they connect with the story and the relatable humanity behind it. Testimonials can be a great tool to connect with audiences in this way because of that emphasis on associating a real story with the brand.
